Warehouse cleaning in Dallas

Most of a warehouse's cleaning need is not the warehouse floor. It is the office, the break room and the restrooms that forty people share.

Dallas has a large distribution and light industrial base — the corridors along I-35E and I-30, the Trinity industrial area west of Downtown, and the warehouse stock around the Design District that has not yet been converted to showrooms. Companies in those buildings usually need a specific and fairly narrow cleaning service.

The warehouse itself is generally handled in-house or by an industrial floor contractor. What gets neglected is everything around it: the office, the restrooms, the break room and the corridor between them.

Working around shifts

The constraint in a warehouse is rarely access — it is traffic. Forklifts and pallet jacks moving through a space make cleaning both slow and unsafe. Most facilities work best with cleaning scheduled either between shifts or during a low-activity window, and with the office and welfare areas cleaned while the floor is still running.

Tell us your shift pattern at quoting. A facility running two shifts six days a week needs a completely different schedule from a single-shift weekday operation, and multi-day schedules may qualify for recurring commercial savings of up to 35%.

Safety and site rules

  • Site induction completed before the first visit where you require one
  • High-visibility clothing and any site-specific PPE worn as required
  • Designated walkways observed, and no entry into live equipment areas
  • Certificate of insurance provided to your facility or landlord
  • Cleaners vetted and background checked before a first visit

Questions people ask about this service

Do you clean the warehouse floor itself?

We clean accessible and clear floor areas by sweeping and mopping. Large open-area machine scrubbing with ride-on equipment is an industrial floor contractor's job, not ours.

Can you clean around a running operation?

Office, restroom and break room areas, yes. Floor areas need a window when traffic is stopped, for safety reasons as much as practical ones.

Do you handle spills?

General water and food spills in welfare areas, yes. Chemical, oil, fuel or any hazardous spill needs a specialist contractor and your own site procedures.

Can you service a facility that runs seven days?

Yes. Schedules are built around your shift pattern rather than a standard week.
