A deep clean is a longer list, not a slower visit. It contains everything in standard cleaning and then adds the following. Where a task is available on request rather than by default, it says so.
Kitchen additions
- Cabinet fronts washed full height, not only around the handles
- Backsplash degreased, including into the grout lines
- Refrigerator exterior detailed, including the sides, the top and the door seal edge
- Oven exterior detailed, including the glass and the vent strip
- Small appliances moved and the counter beneath cleaned
- Toe kicks and the gap beneath cabinet runs
- Trash bin washed inside and out
- Range hood exterior and filter housing
- Inside the oven and inside the refrigerator, on request and arranged in advance
Bathroom additions
- Grout lines scrubbed rather than surface-wiped
- Hard-water film and soap scum removed from glass, chrome and tile
- Shower track, door hinges and frame detailed
- Tile walls washed floor to ceiling
- Exhaust fan cover cleaned
- Vanity interior wiped out
- Behind and around the toilet base, at floor level
Throughout the home
- Baseboards wiped along their full length in every room
- Door frames, doors and the area around every handle
- Light switch plates and outlet covers
- Ceiling fan blades, top and bottom
- Reachable light fixtures, including bowls and recessed trims
- Air return grilles and supply vent covers
- Window sills and interior tracks
- Interior door glass and sidelights
Soft surfaces and floors
- Upholstery vacuumed including beneath cushions and along seams
- Fabric headboards and ottomans
- Rug edges and fringe
- Floor perimeter and corners hand-detailed where a vacuum head skips
- Under furniture that one person can move safely
- Hard floors mopped twice where the first pass lifts heavy soil
- Stair risers and the vertical face of each tread
What a deep clean still will not do
The exclusions are the same at every service level: exterior windows above ground, carpet extraction, pressure washing, mold remediation, pest treatment, moving heavy furniture or electronics, and removing window treatments. A deep clean is thorough within the scope of cleaning; it is not a substitute for a specialist trade.
Two things worth knowing about results
- 1Etched glass does not come back. Mineral film sitting on glass can be removed. Glass that has been etched by years of untreated hard water is physically damaged, and no cleaning reverses that. We will tell you which one you have rather than promising a result.
- 2Unsealed grout has a limit. Grout can be cleaned back a long way, but grout that was never sealed and has absorbed staining will not return to its original color. Cleaning is not sealing, and sealing is a separate job.
How long it takes and what it costs
Roughly twice a standard clean of the same home — commonly five to seven hours for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom Dallas house. Timing by home size and what drives the cost cover both properly.
