Privacy policy
Effective August 20, 2026
This policy explains what information Hygiene Maids of Dallas collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers this website and the ways you can contact us through it.
What this website does and does not do
This site is an informational website for a cleaning company. It does not host customer accounts, it does not store payment card details, and it does not maintain a customer database of its own. Booking, quoting and customer sign-in are handled by the Hygiene Maids platform, which is being connected to this site through embedded pages. Where those embeds are live, information you enter into them is handled by that platform under its own terms rather than collected by this website.
Information you give us directly
When you call, text or email us, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, phone number or email address, the property address, and details about the cleaning you want. We use that information to answer you, prepare a quote, schedule a visit, and keep a record of your preferences so they do not have to be repeated.
Property access information
Recurring customers frequently give us access details: a gate code, a garage code, a lockbox code, a smart-lock guest code, an alarm code, or written authorization for a leasing office or building front desk to release a key. This information is recorded so that visits can proceed when you are not home. Keys held on file are tagged by reference rather than by address. You can withdraw access, change a code or ask for a key to be returned at any time.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site is served through infrastructure that records standard technical information such as the pages requested, the approximate region a request came from, browser type and referring page. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. It is not used to build a marketing profile about you.
We also run Google Analytics, which reports the same kind of thing in aggregate: which pages get read, how people arrived, roughly what part of the country they are in, and whether they were on a phone or a desktop. We use it to decide what to write next and which services to explain better. It is not tied to your name, your address or your booking, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets a small number of first-party cookies to tell repeat visits apart from new ones. They hold a random identifier, not anything that identifies you personally. We set no advertising cookies and do not sell or share what the analytics collects.
Embedded pages from the Hygiene Maids platform, once connected, may set cookies necessary for booking and account functions to work. Most browsers let you review and clear cookies through their settings, and any browser-level or extension-level blocking of analytics will simply mean we do not see the visit.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and prepare quotes
- To schedule, staff and carry out cleaning visits
- To contact you about a booking, including changes and reminders
- To keep a record of your scope, preferences and access arrangements
- To handle a concern raised under our satisfaction guarantee
- To meet legal, insurance and accounting obligations
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information
- We do not rent or trade contact lists
- We do not share customer addresses with third parties for marketing
- We do not photograph the interior of a property for marketing without permission
- We do not discuss customers or their properties with other customers
Who we share information with
Information is shared only where it is needed to deliver the service or where the law requires it. That includes the cleaners assigned to your property, who receive the address, access method and scope; service providers who operate our scheduling, communications and payment systems; Google, which processes the website analytics described above and never receives your booking details; our insurers or professional advisers where a claim or dispute arises; and public authorities where we are legally required to respond.
Text messages
If you text us, we will reply by text. Messages relate to your inquiry, quote or booking. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from us. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
How long we keep information
Inquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept only as long as they are useful to answer follow-up questions. Customer records are kept while you are a customer and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, tax and insurance requirements. Access codes and keys are removed or returned when service ends or when you ask.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw access arrangements at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Links to other sites
This site links to our social media profiles and, where relevant, to third-party resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page will be updated. Material changes affecting how we handle customer information will be communicated to active customers directly.
